Founded in May of 2023, The Deep View is a newsletter-first media brand that delivers breaking news and insights on artificial intelligence to hundreds of thousands of professionals every day. Our content, newsletters, and podcasts provide professionals with the critical analysis and information they need to make sense of what's happening in AI and how it affects their lives.

About the Role

We are seeking a talented writer and editor who will report on and write vividly about the intersection of artificial intelligence with a core B2B, job-specific, or industry-specific vertical. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B communications and be adept at producing engaging, insightful content from scratch.

What You’ll Do:

• Write and edit a weekly B2B newsletter for a specific vertical read by industry leaders and decision-makers within that vertical from scratch

• Develop and implement content strategies that align with our business goals and resonate with our audience

• Collaborate with our Editor in Chief, Content, and Marketing teams to ensure content consistency and quality

• Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant insights into the newsletters

• Engage with industry experts and thought leaders to produce high-quality, authoritative content

• Maintain a high standard of editorial quality and ensure all content meets our guidelines and tone

What You’ve Done Before:

• 3+ years of experience in writing and editing B2B content, preferably in a newsletter or B2B media environment

• Proven track record of developing successful B2B content strategies

• Strong research skills and the ability to quickly understand complex industry topics

• Excellent writing, reporting, editing, and proofreading skills

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment

• Familiarity with AI and technology trends that relate to your beat

Compensation

This is a 100% remote, part-time contractor or freelance position with competitive compensation. Payment will be structured on a per-project or hourly basis, depending on the scope and frequency of your involvement within our organization.
