Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) is seeking a Structural Integrity Senior Manager to lead the B-52 CERP Stress team in Oklahoma City, OK.
This role is critical in ensuring the overall structural integrity across the CERP program. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in structural integrity, design leadership, and team management, with a strong focus on safety and technical excellence.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Primary stress engineering interface to the Program Management Office, Integrated Product Team Leader and the USAF customer.
  • Structural Integrity Team leadership (focused on static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analysis).
  • Lead Structural Integrity Integration across loads, mass properties, design, and stress
  • Certification strategy.
  • Technical excellence.
  • Cost and schedule management using EVM.
  • Safety Review Board (SRB) support.
  • Engineering Change Package development.
  • Supplier and A/C operations interface.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
  • 3+ years of experience as a manager leading engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting to boards, regulators, and senior customers.
  • Experience working with customers on technical and business issues.
  • Experience with airplane structural design and analysis.
  • Familiarity with aerospace certification standards and processes.
  • Experience conducting and sponsoring technical evaluations and delivering pragmatic engineering solutions that balance safety, performance, schedule, and cost.
  • Results-oriented leader with a focus on safety, compliance, and delivery predictability.
  • Experience with Non-Recurring Product Development (NRPD).
  • Change agent who fosters continuous improvement, digital engineering adoption, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communications skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of management, customers, and partners.
  • Master of Science in an engineering discipline.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Ability to build a safe environment of inclusion, transparency, and trust.
  • Leadership skills to lead and influence positive outcomes.
  • Previous experience in leading, mentoring, and engaging individuals and teams.
  • Experience providing active mentorship and career guidance.

Summary pay range: $153,000 - 207,000
