Azure Cloud Migration Lead
We are digital builders born in the cloud, and right now, we’re looking for an Azure Cloud Migration Lead to drive seamless cloud transformation journeys for our clients. Your Daily Work:
You’ll be responsible for leading and managing cloud migration projects, ensuring smooth execution from planning to completion. This includes:
- Project & Program Management – Overseeing scope, budget, staffing, scheduling, and delivery success. Tracking deliverables, managing risks, and ensuring adherence to governance and security best practices. Providing structured reporting to stakeholders.
- Migration Execution – Leading the migration of on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure, including cutover planning, dry runs, and hypercare to ensure smooth transitions.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership – Managing multicultural teams (internal, customer, third parties) and collaborating with technical and executive stakeholders to align on strategy, risks, and progress.
- Continuous Improvement – Identifying challenges early, applying structured problem-solving techniques, and optimizing cloud resource allocation while maintaining performance and cost efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re after an experienced leader who can effectively manage complex Azure cloud migrations. The ideal candidate has:
Technical Expertise
- Experience leading end-to-end cloud migration projects (on-prem to Azure)
- Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure, networking, and security best practices
- Familiarity with Azure Migrate, Azure Landing Zones, and Cloud Adoption Framework
Migration Execution & Automation
- Hands-on experience with cutover planning, dry runs, and hypercare phases
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep) and automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI)
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
Security, Governance & Optimization
- Understanding of cloud security frameworks (ISO, NIST, CIS) and access management (RBAC, Conditional Access).
- Ability to optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Strong program management skills (roadmaps, risk mitigation, reporting)
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-305)
- Project management experience (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is a plus
Other:
- Fluent communication in Finnish and English
- The successful candidate is expected to go through a security clearance
