Azure Devops Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Azure DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Kochi. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing our CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), YAML, and deploying applications to a variety of Azure services. You will be responsible for automating our build and release processes, ensuring the stability and performance of our systems, and championing DevOps best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using both YAML and Classic editors in Azure DevOps.
- Manage and automate deployments to various targets including Microsoft Azure, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, and on-premise servers.
- Implement and manage a complete DevOps toolchain for planning, continuous integration, automated testing, security scanning, and continuous delivery.
- Establish and enforce DevOps best practices to improve efficiency, security, and
- Configure and maintain monitoring and management infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and cost optimization of our Azure resources.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Bicep to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) for build and release management (CI/CD).
- Solid experience authoring both YAML and Classic pipelines.
- Working knowledge of deployments to Microsoft Azure, AKS, Azure Data Factory, and Azure
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Azure services and cloud
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, and writing SQL
- Proficient in version control systems and best practices, particularly Git branching strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and container
- Exposure to security best practices within a DevOps lifecycle (DevSecOps).
