- Azure, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Services), Architecture Principle Design, Azure - Migration, Azure Administration (IaaS), Cassandra, Cloud Migration, Kafka, Migration Design, Migration Planning, MongoDB
- Database & Middleware Support: Senior Architect, Applications & Platforms
- Analyse on premises/ Azure transactional database environments such as Oracle, SQL Server, COSMOS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra evaluate and plan migrations to Azure
- Develop/Enhance database PLSQL scripts/TSQL to migrate from source database to target database
- Identity workarounds for specific issues and corner scenarios observed during migration
- Develop test plan and testcases to demonstrate database readiness post migration
- Document detailed design and migration steps for continued migration from Dev to Prod.
- Masters/ Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
- 15 years of experience in database design/ development/migration on Azure
- Hands-on experience on Oracle, SQL Server, COSMOS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra
- Experience migrating Large databases 1TB in size across multiple database engines (e. g. PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, etc. )
- Experience with heterogenous database migrations
- Experience in performance optimization techniques
- High end Troubleshooting and Communication skills
- Scripting language (bash/Perl/python)
- Experience in Database Administration, HA DR and Monitoring setup - backup/restore, replication, etc
