Job requirements

• We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect with strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric and modern Azure data platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable data architectures on Azure, enabling advanced analytics, real-time data processing, and enterprise-grade data governance. SAP integration experience is highly preferred.


Key Responsibilities
• Design and architect end-to-end Azure data solutions using modern data platform principles.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and ETL frameworks.
• Architect and manage data storage solutions using ADLS Gen2, Azure Blob Storage, Cosmos DB, SQL Server, and Synapse Analytics.
• Implement real-time and streaming solutions using Azure Event Hub, Stream Analytics, and Azure Data Explorer.
• Develop and optimize data models, data warehouses, and analytical datasets.
• Ensure data quality, security, compliance, and governance using Microsoft Purview.
• Leverage Databricks and MS Fabric for advanced analytics and large-scale data processing.
• Monitor and optimize platform performance using Azure Monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, BI teams, and business users to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Support integration of enterprise systems, including SAP data sources, into Azure data platforms.
• Provide technical leadership, best practices, and architectural guidance across data initiatives.

• Strong knowledge of ETL fundamentals
• Data Warehousing & Data Modeling fundamentals
• Modern Data Platform Architecture
• Experience with MS Fabric
• Hands-on experience with Python for data processing
• Governance & Integration
• Experience implementing data governance, lineage, and cataloging using Microsoft Purview
• Experience integrating SAP data sources into Azure (preferred)


Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Architect or Senior Data Engineer in Azure environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native, scalable, and secure data architectures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
