Job Description

We are looking for a talented and motivated Support and Development Engineer with expertise in APIs to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, developing, and troubleshooting API-based solutions, ensuring seamless integration with third-party applications and services. You will work closely with both internal teams and external clients, providing technical assistance, debugging issues, and developing new API features.

Technical:

  • Fluent in Axway API product, Linux, Database,
  • Hands-on experience working in Cloud Provider platforms AWS and Azure
  • Provide technical support for API-related issues encountered by internal teams or external clients.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve API-related bugs and performance issues.
  • Ensure API reliability, availability, and optimal performance.

API Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend, frontend, QA) to implement API integrations with various systems.
  • Develop new API features and enhance existing functionalities.

Incident Management:

  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving system outages or incidents affecting the APIs.
  • Knowledge and hands-on of ITIL services

Desirable:

  • Hands on experience in API development, integration, and support.
  • Hands-on experience in Axway API Gateway.
  • Proficiency in Unix and Shell scripting.
  • Proficiency in developing and working with RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs.
  • Experience with API management platforms (e.g., Postman, Swagger, Apigee, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and API data formats (JSON, XML).
  • Familiarity with API authentication methods (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
  • A strong passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.


Total Experience Expected: 06-08 years

Qualifications

BTech (Bachelor of Technology) & additionally Cloud Knowledge

  • Flexible to work in shifts and ready for on call on rotation.
