AWS DevOps Engineer
$88,506 - $109,748 / year starting pay

Position located in Columbia, Missouri
What You Will Be Doing:
Design and implement scalable AWS environments, build data pipelines, and ensure seamless integration of DevOps and data engineering practices.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, VPC, IAM.
- Experience designing and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
- Proficiency using IaC tools such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform or Ansible to automate the provisioning of cloud resources.
- Proficiency using source code control systems such as AWS CodeCommit, GitHub.
- Programming skills in Python for data engineering, automation, and scripting to streamline workflows and infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and Snowflake.
- Understanding of data governance, data security, and data privacy regulations.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow the guidance of the DevOps Lead and work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience in designing scalable and robust cloud solutions.
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Please remember that this range is the starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.
