and international career opportunities in a modern, diverse setting.In the BPM Architecture team we collaborate with software developers to manage code releases and manage and monitor the application health.
We design and implements the solutions to automatize the code release and make changes in AWS architecture with two principal objectives: improve the platform to use new AWS functionalities and provision new architecture for the new projects that are designed by the Solution Architects. Appian Architecture Specialists implement changes at AWS platform that allow us to build automated deployments through the use of configuration management technology. We deploy new modules and upgrades and complete fixes within the production environment.
This position will have the following responsibilities:
· Creating AWS Cloud full based infrastructure required by the Openbank and ODS team.
· Creating and maintaining scripts to spin up and spin down instances required for application on demand.
· Maintaining all the company followed security compliances like passwords, key rotation policies.
· Providing direct server support during various operations such as deployment and general production.
· Collaborating with developers to make sure new environments meet requirements and conform to best practices
· Cost savings/ Cost Optimization is huge part of their activities. They tag and monitor the running instances and anything that is not required to run they not only need to shut them down but also find the root cause why they were not terminated properly in the first place (process issue or software issue).
· BPM Infrastructure technologies implementation, maintenance and support.
· Finally, work with DEV/STE team to deploy newer versions of software in Cloud and infrastructure improvements.
Specific experience and knowledge required:
· +2 years of experience in BPM infrastructure, services (elastic search, data-server, kafka, zookeeper, ...) and designing background. Experience
in Appian will be highly valued.
· +2 years of experience working with Cloud. Knowledge of cloud environments, with usage of modern patterns like infrastructure as code or ephemeral servers. AWS highly valued.
· Background in reverse proxy technologies such as NGINX, Apache, ...
· Background in systems automation and Linux administration
· Experience of three-layers architectures: web (Apache), engine (tomcat/spring) and database (MySQL, PostgreSQL and ORACLE)
· Expertise across source control tools, continuous integration tools and team management tools.
· Tools: shell script (bash), Python, Java script, Bamboo, Ansible, Awscli, Aws Cloudformation, Splunk, Grafana, Cloudwatch, Dockers, etc.
