Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Databricks Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize large-scale data processing systems on Databricks, ensuring efficient data flow and seamless integration across platforms. You will work cross-functionally with other data professionals and business stakeholders to drive our data strategy and execution.

Years of Experience Required
  • Minimum 7+ years in data engineering or related field

  • At least 3+ years hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)Duration: Long Term ContractCompensation: $39/hr on 1099Technical Skills
  • SQL (advanced)

  • Python / PySpark (proficient)

  • Strong background in ETL, data warehousing, and big data technologies

  • AWS Cloud experience, including Redshift and RDS

  • Databricks Lake experience

  • Experience using Apache Airflow for orchestration

  • Strong knowledge of data engineering best practices

Leadership & Collaboration
  • Proven ability to lead development teams

  • Strong mentorship and project management skills

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with business and technical teams
