Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS), ensuring high performance, availability, and security. This role involves automating cloud infrastructure and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to streamline deployment processes. This work will be based in Ogden, UT. Main responsibilities include:
- Designing, implementing, and managing AWS solutions for customers.
- Working with customers to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Developing and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Configuring and managing AWS services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.
- Implementing security best practices for AWS solutions.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting AWS solutions.
- Staying up-to-date on the latest AWS services and technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software deployment and debugging in cloud environments
- 5+ years of experience working with Linux systems, managing configurations and troubleshooting environments
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.), deploying and managing cloud-based solutions
- Strong experience with Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure as code and configuration management
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.) for automating tasks and debugging
- Ability to work independently, manage tasks effectively, and solve complex problems autonomously
- Experience in supporting DoD, IC, or Federal Law Enforcement customers is a plus
- Special Access Program experience is a preferred asset for understanding enterprise-level systems and processes
- U.S. Citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance or higher
Desired Qualifications:
- AWS Solutions Architect Certification preferred.
This position is 5 days a week on site in Ogden, Utah. The salary range is estimated to be between $100,000.00 - $140,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical interview.
