Change the world. Love your job.
We are looking for an experienced AWS Architect to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of our enterprise AWS platform. In this role you will drive cloud‑native solutions, enable self‑service capabilities, and ensure seamless integration between on‑premises environments and AWS across the IT Data & Agentic Platforms team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and own the architecture and strategy for AWS‑based services, covering compute, storage, networking, security, and data platforms.
- Design and implement scalable, highly‑available solutions using native AWS services (EKS, ECS, Lambda, Fargate, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Aurora, etc.).
- Build self‑service cloud capabilities (internal “AWS‑like” portal) with APIs, automation, and developer‑friendly tooling.
- Lead infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK, emphasizing repeatable, automated deployments.
- Architect hybrid integrations that connect on‑prem data centers to AWS (Direct Connect, VPN, Transit Gateway, Snowball, etc.).
- Develop and enforce governance, security, and compliance frameworks aligned with AWS Well‑Architected and corporate policies.
- Partner with network, security, SRE, and application teams to ensure end‑to‑end platform reliability and performance.
- Drive migration and modernization of legacy workloads to AWS, leveraging serverless, container, and micro‑services patterns.
- Champion CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and observability (CloudWatch, X‑Ray, Prometheus, Grafana) to accelerate delivery cycles.
- Mentor and upskill engineering teams on best practices for cost optimization, resiliency, and operational excellence in AWS.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering with a strong focus on AWS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep expertise in designing and operating enterprise‑scale AWS architectures.
- Proven experience with container platforms on AWS (EKS, ECS/Fargate) and serverless services (Lambda, Step Functions).
- Strong IaC background (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK) and automation tooling.
- Demonstrated ability to design highly‑available, resilient distributed systems on AWS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, GitOps, and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience building internal developer portals or cloud consoles on AWS.
- Advanced networking knowledge (VPC design, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, security groups, NACLs).
- Experience with data‑engineering services (Kinesis, MSK, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Athena).
- Hands‑on experience with GPU/HPC workloads on AWS (EC2 G4/G5 instances, SageMaker).
- Proficiency with observability stacks (CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus).
- Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM, AWS SSO, Zero‑Trust architectures).
- Engineer your future. We empower our employees to truly own their career and development. Come collaborate with some of the smartest people in the world to shape the future of electronics.
- We're different by design. Diverse backgrounds and perspectives are what push innovation forward and what make TI stronger. We value each and every voice, and look forward to hearing yours. Meet the people of TI

Texas Instruments Compensation & Benefits Highlights
The following summarizes recurring compensation and benefits themes identified from responses generated by popular LLMs to common candidate questions about Texas Instruments and has not been reviewed or approved by Texas Instruments.
-
Strong & Reliable Incentives — Profit sharing and annual bonuses are portrayed as a meaningful, formula-linked upside that can materially lift total earnings in strong years. An employee stock purchase plan with a discount further reinforces recurring, wealth-building incentives.
-
Retirement Support — A 401(k) match is described as a stable core benefit, with some references to additional legacy employer contributions and even pension-like elements for certain cohorts. This framing positions long-term savings support as a notable part of the overall rewards package.
-
Healthcare Strength — Medical coverage is depicted as broadly comprehensive, with preventive care and access to HSA/FSA features cited as value-adds. Company-seeded HSA contributions are repeatedly characterized as an important offset to the plan design for those enrolled.
