AWS Architect and Python Developer

Ironside has an immediate opening for an AWS Application Architect in our Data Engineering team. This person will work with our Data Analytics team to design, implement, and support customer solutions including BI/ Visualizations, ML/AI databases, and Digital business applications our clients are building in AWS.

Description Responsibilities include creating end-to-end application architectures, contributing to the cloud architecture on which all components will run, and ownership of the solution development process for our customers' strategic digital applications.
 

Your Contributions:

• Write code and develop AWS Cloud applications for Ironside's clients.
• Experience in writing Python applications or API.
• Troubleshoot and debug end-to-end cloud application code using AWS stack
• Provide detailed documentation, end-user training, and knowledge-transfer services to customers.
• Application performance tuning and optimization
• Experience in serverless architecture and cloud native development
• Clear understanding of software development & version control best practices
• Individual contributor and also able to lead a team as needed

Your Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a Cloud engineering or development role.
• AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty
• 3+ years of practical experience with AWS data and analytics solution deployments.
• Expertise in creating Python API's is required. 
• Deep familiarity with AWS services like Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, API Gateway 
• Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, or equivalent.
• Understanding of system integration and microservice design
• Experience working in an Agile development methodology.

Strong Extras:

• Relevant AWS Certifications
• Experience with deploying AWS SageMaker models is a big plus
• Familiarity with Machine Learning, AI Tools, algorithms, and natural language processing 
• Exposure to data integration tools like Matillion or others
• Experience with "Infrastructure as Code" (Terraform and CloudFormation)
