As a Financial Statement Audit Senior Associate you will support external audit engagements within our Audit and Assurance practice, focusing on financial statements, internal controls, and governance and risk management processes for clients in the Asset and Wealth Management sector. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex issues, manage assigned workstreams, build meaningful client relationships, and guide junior team members while developing your technical skills and personal brand. In this role at PwC, you will apply audit methodologies and technology resources to evaluate financial reporting, interpret data and feedback, and contribute to deliverables that support client service engagements and broader business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Leading external audit workstreams for asset and wealth management clients and managing assigned deliverables across the engagement lifecycle
- Analyzing financial statements, accounting policies, and transactions to identify misstatements, control gaps, and reporting issues
- Applying auditing methodologies, GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting standards to evaluate disclosures and supporting documentation
- Reviewing internal controls, process documentation, and compliance activities to support audit planning, testing, and issue resolution
- Interpreting data, financial trends, and transaction patterns to develop audit findings and practical recommendations
- Using digital tooling, data analysis, and AI-enabled platforms to improve audit procedures and document review
- Building client relationships by communicating audit status, discussing findings, and responding to questions from finance and operations teams
- Guiding and reviewing the work of Associates and junior team members while sharing feedback and coaching on assigned tasks
- Coordinating multiple deadlines, prioritizing work, and adapting to changing client needs and technical requirements
- Applying critical thinking and professional skepticism to complex accounting and disclosure matters
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment.
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for a Bachelor's degree in at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting
- At least one of the following: Current pursuit of or an active CPA license
- Demonstrating auditing methodology knowledge and financial reporting understanding

The salary range for this position is: $72,000 - $184,440. For residents of Washington state the salary range for this position is: $72,000 - $212,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
