Summary Generated by Built In

As an AI Controls Enablement Lead in Controls Strategy & Innovation, you lead a team of Controls professionals with deep technical AI expertise who sit at the intersection of business and technology. The team translates what AI is doing into language that the business and Controls can act on and prototypes automated controls and solutions that can be implemented at scale across Asset & Wealth Management and beyond.

On any given day, you may conduct a joint risk review with a Control Manager, bringing technical expertise while they own the controls finding. You will act as a co-developer, coach, and gatekeeper across Controls, Technology, and the business, making the invisible visible and the technical actionable.

This role provides significant exposure to senior Controls leadership and senior business stakeholders, positioning you to influence how Controls builds and deploys AI-enabled solutions for the business. It is a stimulating environment where you will collaborate across disciplines to deliver creative and sustainable solutions.

Our people-first culture underpins everything we do. Here, you will have the opportunity to grow your career, develop future-focused skills, and join a diverse and inclusive community that embraces teamwork and innovation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Determine the appropriate tool to solve business problems in a cost-effective manner across AI and automation technologies (e.g., UiPath, Python, and other JPMorgan-authorized workflow, process, and decision automation tools) to prototype and scale automated controls.
  • Run scenario simulations and red-team exercises; establish best practices and standards for the review and deployment of AI tools across the AI Controls Enablement team.
  • Lead the AI Controls Council and produce the quarterly AI Controls Intelligence Report for senior leadership, including the status of in-flight items, prioritization of new work, and solutions launched with impact.
  • Define measurable outcomes for the team, guide solution development, and foster collaboration while establishing and sharing best practices.

  • Capability to implement robust controls to safeguard business operations and meet critical regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in process and data analysis to enhance control environments and interpret business needs and trends.
  • Confident leadership and sound judgment to influence a strong culture of risk management.
  • Strong internal stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with senior Controls leadership and senior business stakeholders.
