AVP - Quality & Test Automation Engineer – IB Tech & CRM/Analytics

IB Tech, CRM & Analytics is a strategic, agile and cross-functional team responsible for leading the firm's global digitalization effort through innovative technology, data science and deep analytics. The team partners with all client-facing business units and corporate functions, as well as industry experts, to build transformational technology impacting investment banking, trading, sales, and research teams to drive revenue, maximize efficiency, and optimize client service. 

We are at the forefront of Jefferies' cloud initiative, leveraging best-in-class cloud-based technologies to replace legacy on-premises solutions to provide intelligent trend insights, actionable opportunities, decision support, and transparency into all client and business-related activities. 

• Experience in Agile work culture
• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases and test scripts based on business requirements and functional specifications
• Co-ordinate with project stakeholders, including Product Owners, Developers, to define testing scope, objectives, and timelines
• Design and maintain test environments, including test data creation and management
• Monitor and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and closure
• Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to functionality and integrations
• Conduct regression testing to ensure stability of the system after changes or enhancements
• Provide regular status updates on testing progress, including test execution metrics, defect status and risk assessment
• Ensure project deliverables are completed within stipulated time with highest quality without defect leakages to higher environment
• Participate in project planning, resource management, allocations and assignments creating fungible resources across concurrent projects
• Allocate and co-ordinate test schedules, work, and resource plans, managing own deliverables and that of others to meet delivery timelines
• Participate and guide team members on quality assurance principles including inspections, walk-throughs and brainstorming of requirements to detect early defects in requirements & technical design and solutions
• Hands – on in testing applications and detecting defects. Strong experience in exploratory testing 

• Experience in functional, database / backend testing, mobile / iPad testing, API testing, ETL / data migration testing
• Experience in automation testing / scripting, ideally BDD/Cucumber/Playwright using Java, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Allure report framework or any other relevant report framework 
• Jenkins setup, configuration, troubleshooting and scheduling jobs
• Adept at CI/CD integration for test automation scripts and shift - left
