The opportunity

In this role you will own the product and engineering strategy for a two sided AI talent and data platform. You will lead multiple teams, work closely with senior commercial and delivery stakeholders, and be accountable for reliability, speed of delivery and the long term technical roadmap.


What you will do

• Own the product and engineering vision for the platform, in partnership with executive leadership.

• Lead multiple engineering and product teams responsible for matching, workflows, payments, security and compliance.
• Design and evolve architectures that support high transaction volumes, global onboarding, workflow automation and payouts.
• Integrate ML and AI into the platform for matching, personalisation, fraud detection and quality prediction.
• Establish and track metrics and dashboards for reliability, performance and product health.
• Build and reinforce engineering and product practices that support fast, safe delivery at scale.
• Partner with commercial and delivery leaders to align the roadmap with customer needs and growth priorities.
• Attract, develop and retain senior engineering and product talent across multiple locations.

What you bring
To thrive in this role you will likely bring
• 10+ years of experience in product and engineering, with at least 5 years leading multi team organisations at Senior Director or similar level.
• Proven success scaling two sided platforms, marketplaces or high volume SaaS or data ecosystems.
• Strong technical depth in distributed systems, workflow automation and cloud native infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Experience integrating ML or AI into production platforms for matching, personalisation or fraud and quality signals.
• Track record managing globally distributed teams through periods of growth and change.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.

It is a plus if you also have

• Experience from talent marketplaces, on demand platforms or other high transaction environments.
• Experience owning payments, KYC, compliance or trust and safety in a multi country context.
• Background in AI data, GenAI or data infrastructure platforms.

Location and set up

• Location flexible for senior candidates, with a preference for major tech hubs in North America or similar time zones.

• Work pattern: Hybrid or remote first, with some travel to key offices and leadership meetings as needed.

Package

• Competitive base salary in the region of USD 250,000.

• Performance based bonus or OTE, with additional long term upside for strong and sustained performance.
