Job Description

Purpose of the role
To develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business, maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, and achieve revenue targets. 
Accountabilities
· Development and maintenance of relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and objectives.
· Presentation and pitching of financial products and services to clients, tailored to their requirements.
· Liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth execution of client requests.
· Stay updated on market trends, financial products, and industry regulations.
· Collaboration with research analysts and other teams to provide clients with insights and market updates.
· Negotiation of terms and agreements with clients to finalise sales transactions.

· Consult on complex issues; providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
· Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
· Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
· Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function.
· Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
· Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively.
· Communicate complex information. 'Complex' information could include sensitive information or information that is difficult to communicate because of its content or its audience.
· Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.

Job Description

This role is FINRA regulated.
 

Join us as a AVP Prime Client Service at Barclays where you’ll play a pivotal role in managing relationships with hedge fund clients. You will provide analysis to Sales and Account Management teams on client’s activities and trends, work closely with our internal teams, while ensuring fast and unparalleled customer service to our clients.

You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in the role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job specific technical skills.

Additional relevant skills in a client facing role, such as experience related to products like F&O’s, OTC Clearing, FXPB, equities or fixed income, are highly valued.

Salary / Rate Minimum: 125,000

Salary / Rate Maximum: 175,000

The minimum and maximum salary/ rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

This role is based in New York.
