This position reports to SVP/Relationship Banking
Basic Functions
Leads and directs the Relationship Banking team in the Highland Park market to achieve optimal productivity, operational excellence and client satisfaction. Accomplishes sales objectives by attracting new deposits while delivering outstanding client service and retaining existing clients. Provides leadership, coaching and development to team members, fostering a high-performance culture aligned with the Bank’s Strategic Plan.
Essential Duties
1. Provide effective leadership and management oversight for Relationship Banking team in the Highland Park market.

Develop, coach, mentor and motivate Relationship Bankers, Branch Operations Support staff and the Teller Manager ensuring exceptional client service, achievement of sales and operational goals and retention of high-performing employees.

Conduct monthly team sales and individual coaching sessions with staff.

Oversee and direct workforce planning, including, hiring, staffing, performance management and evaluations, promotion and compensation recommendations, disciplinary actions and terminations.

Implement action plans to improve quality of service.
2. Address the needs of existing and prospective clients.

Respond to inquiries regarding accounts and resolve client feedback.

Proactively recommend appropriate bank solutions which meet the clients’ financial objectives and achieve established sales goals.
3. Develop business and build relationships with clients.

Actively participate in service activities within the community, such as the local Chamber, Rotary, etc. to promote goodwill and generate new business.

Actively support current clients in their sponsored events and activities
4. Responsible for overseeing the successful completion of various projects related to the Relationship Banking department.

Training & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years managerial experience
- Minimum 5 years’ banking experience
- Microsoft proficiency
- Fiserv application experience preferred
Compensation
Expected Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000
- Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
