About the Department

We invite the right person with a passion for IT infrastructural support to become a part of our Japan's IT Operations department.
The Position
As an AV & Infrastructure Supporter, you are to support infrastructure upgrades and new service deployments providing assistance across the Japan region, and ensure local arrangements with LoB for projects. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide support for infrastructure upgrades and new service deployments, and contribute to global guidelines, troubleshooting, and sparring.
  • Manage and support infrastructure equipment for the Japan region, including block offices, Tokyo HQ, Tokyo DC, and KFA.
  • Collaborate with global teams and third-party vendors to drive projects and resolve technical issues.
  • Take responsibility for local project arrangements and ensure smooth progress, as well as develop solutions to prevent system issues and support business productivity.
  • Participate in online events at Japan Headquarters and advise on remote site events, as well as support AV/Meeting/Webinar room device operations at Japan Headquarters.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, degree of professional school in the faculty of IT, or above is required.
  • Native level of Japanese language skill and intermediate level of English skill are required.
  • 3 years+ of experience of IT infrastructure engineer including hardware system support is required. AV support experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to remote or dispatched sites within Japan when necessary.
