About the Role:

Perform support activities required to maintain a high level of availability and stability for one or more applications including incident/problem analysis and resolution, change deployment and certification, application performance, application operations management and development support.

About the team 

 Team is responsible for providing L2 Level Support, comes under CIO Platform Support for Capital Market. Team is engaged in providing Application and Batch Support and coordinating for daily BAU work.

What you will be doing:

• Maintain all application and infrastructure job schedules, investigations and repairing abends.
• Design, update and maintain scheduling tools and architecture.
• Create, update and maintain ‘run and recovery’ procedures.
• Maintenance of the batch schedules for the distributed environment using the CA Workload Automation AE (Autosys) scheduling software.
• Daily scheduling of the job runs. Attendance at weekly standup status meetings to discuss any reported scheduling issues.
• Design and maintenance of all scheduling flows, calendars and associated resources.

What you bring:

• 3 to 6 years’ experience in Production Support – Unix, Windows, DevOps.
• Engineer should possess good understanding on Enterprise Scheduling Architecture, Linux and Oracle Database, hand on experience in ITIL, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Service Now and Autosys (Job Scheduler) will be preferred.
• Should have strong hold on Linux with respect to application support.
• Should have goods hands on experience on ITIL framework.
• Knowledge of a wide range of interface design, development and debugging tools, techniques and methodologies
• Knowledge of shell scripting/python programming languages ,DevOps tools Jenkins, Ansible
