Responsibilities

•    Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and user story creation.
•    Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define project scope, goals, and acceptance criteria.
•    Translate high‑level business needs into detailed Jira stories, tasks, and defects.
•    Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and UI/UX teams to clarify requirements and resolve inconsistencies early in the sprint cycle.
•    Ensure delivered solutions meet documented business needs and functional specifications.
•    Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to achieve comprehensive coverage of system functionality.
•    Identify, document, and track defects using Jira, and collaborate with developers to validate fixes.
•    Perform functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing to ensure product stability.
•    Develop, execute, or maintain automation test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript as needed.
•    Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines in partnership with the engineering team.
•    Analyze test results and produce clear, detailed reports for stakeholders.
•    Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), including support, training, and documentation for end users.
•    Communicate progress, risks, blockers, and quality concerns effectively to project stakeholders.
•    Continuously refine test processes, frameworks, and coverage to improve efficiency and overall product quality.
•    Provide QA sign‑off for releases and maintain documentation for test results, processes, and standards.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•    4-6 years of experience in QA, Business Analysis, or a hybrid QA‑BA role.
•    Strong ability to translate business requirements into clear, detailed Jira stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria.
•    Hands‑on experience with software testing of scalable web applications, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
•    Familiarity with UI/web automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver or Playwright.
•    Hands‑on experience using Zephyr for Jira to manage test cases, test cycles, and execution.
•    Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with careful attention to detail.
•    Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
•    Excellent communication skills, with ability to work effectively across technical and non‑technical teams.
•    Ability to adapt to evolving priorities, learn quickly, and work independently with minimal supervision.
