Automation Tester (Selenium ,Java) (5–8 years)

Role Summary

Perform both automation and manual testing for Transfer Agency products, including converting manual test cases into automated scripts. Focus on developing and maintaining automation frameworks, executing functional and regression tests, and collaborating with stakeholders within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in designing, planning, and execution of automation strategies for complex financial products.
  • Identify automation opportunities.
  • Enhance and maintain automation frameworks; ensure scalability and reusability.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and product engineering teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers and review automation scripts.
  • Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
  • Execute functional and regression tests.
  • Work on automation on various products with the team whenever needed.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
  • Perform manual testing as per requirements.
  • Work with BA to understand functionality and work independently during testing life cycle.
Required Skills
  • 5–8 years of QA automation experience with strong scripting skills.
  • Expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java and CI/CD tools.
  • Experience in Agile methodology and test management tools.
  • Good understanding of Transfer Agency processes (investor onboarding, transaction processing, reporting).
  • Good Knowledge of GIT/SVN, Jira and Agile practices
  • Good knowledge of SDLC, defective lifecycle, testing methodology.
  • Excellent hand-on in Microsoft excel and word
  • Basic understanding of AI and implementation approaches
Good-to-Have Skills
  • In-depth understanding of Transfer Agency processes and compliance.
  • Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter).
  • Knowledge of AML/KYC compliance in TA domain.

  • Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
  • Willing to work in Flexible schedule, ready to work in shifts
  • Must be able to perform under pressure
What We Offer
  • Establish design principles for QA automation and Performance Testing and present options and recommendations as needed.
  • Design and maintain the test automation frameworks.
  • Architect modular and reusable automated testing solutions that satisfy client requirements.
  • Work closely with the test team to identify new automation opportunities.
  • Contribute to managing of test environments.
  • Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information.
  • Develop and maintain regression suite for various products.
  • Keep current with advances in automation methodologies and tools.
  • Research, evaluate, and deploy new test tools.
  • Experience with Jenkins or other continuous integration software.

  • Degree or equivalent
