Job Overview
Our client is looking for an Automation
Test Lab Support Engineer to support and troubleshoot hardware and
software used for automotive cockpit systems validation in a test lab
environment.
The role will focus on maintaining lab
readiness and providing hands-on technical support for validation activities
involving infotainment systems, instrument clusters, Head-Up Displays (HUD),
and other automotive cockpit systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support for
automotive test lab hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot issues affecting lab
equipment and validation environments.
- Support validation activities for
automotive cockpit systems.
- Assist with testing of:
- Infotainment systems
- Instrument clusters
- Head-Up Displays (HUD)
- Other cockpit electronic systems
- Diagnose hardware and software
issues and work toward timely resolution.
- Maintain test lab equipment and
ensure systems are available for validation activities.
- Support engineers and validation
teams with lab setup and troubleshooting.
- Investigate recurring lab issues
and assist with root cause identification.
- Document issues, troubleshooting
steps, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with engineering and
validation teams to maintain a reliable test environment.
Required Skills
- Experience supporting and
troubleshooting hardware and software in a test lab environment.
- Experience with automotive systems
validation is highly preferred.
- Understanding of automotive cockpit
systems and validation environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and
problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work hands-on with
hardware and software components.
- Strong communication and
documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with
engineering and validation teams.
