Job Role: Automation Test Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, and API
- Perform API testing (functional, regression, and integration) to validate backend services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure proper defect tracking and closure.
- Participate in test planning, test case creation, and test execution activities.
- Ensure automation suites are scalable, reusable, and aligned with best practices.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Must-have requirements:
- 5+ Years of Testing experience.
- 2 Years of Automation Experience with Selenium and Java.
- Interpreting business and technical specifications.
- Understand UML.
- Software-testing methodology and frameworks, defect management, test management.
- Regression, usability, sanity, and functional testing methods.
- SQL, XML, JSON.
- Ability to work in Agile Development & Testing Environment.
