We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation systems that improve our product efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles, experience with various automation technologies, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions to improve production processes.
- Design, develop, and implement PLC programs using ladder logic, function block, structured text, or other similar languages.
- Develop HMI (Human Machine Interface) screens for operator control and monitoring.
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to integrate PLC programs with existing manufacturing systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation for automation systems, including design specifications, manuals, and user guides.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation equipment and software.
- Provide technical support for installation and commissioning when needed.
- Troubleshoot and modify existing PLC programs to improve functionality or resolve issues.
- Train maintenance personnel and operators on new control systems and updates.
- Comply with all safety guidelines and regulations related to electrical and control systems.
- Support mechanical engineers or technicians with the assembly process when needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automation Engineer, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- PLC Controllers – Mitsubishi, Siemens, Delta, ABB or similar controllers
- Experience with HMI design and programming.
- Industrial Communication Protocols – Melsec, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, or other similar protocols
- Experience working with VFDs and other 3-phase motor drivers.
- Experience working with different sensors and actuators integration to PLCs.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Availability to travel to customer sites for installation and troubleshooting when necessary.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and safety standards.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

- Experience with IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Working knowledge of CAD software for designing automation systems.
- Understanding of basic principles of Physics, Material Science and Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar
