Job Skills/Necessary knowledge of:
Proficient Knowledge in web based application testing Nice to have backend database testing experience Knowledge of JIRA, HP ALM and Confluence Excellent written and verbal communications
Creative problem solver and quick learner
Be able to work independently or collaborate with others on project team
Experience with Waterfall and Agile based methodologies
Experience with status reporting
Good to have skills*Knowledge of automation tools is desired Banking domain
Experience with open source API test frameworks such as RESTAssured
Experience with gitLinux and/or macOS experience
Experience with shell scripting in Windows and/or Linux
Experience with Atlassian toolset such as JIRA and Confluence
Special requirements:
1. Candidates should have clear perspective on what webservices are, how RESTful webservices work, the messaging in webservices and messaging aspects.
2. Good soft skills
3. Ability to work in an agile environment, agile concepts, story sizing, test strategy, etc.
4. Strong exposure to API testing with thorough understanding of the internals of webservice APIs at message level (understanding of HTTP req and response messages and response codes, error handling).
5. Immediate hands on exposure to Java programming and clarity on basic concepts of Java.7. Understanding of client server models (in terms of webs ervices)Key responsibilities
