The Role

We are seeking a seasoned BCP-DR Application Architecture & Resiliency Specialist to drive end-to-end disaster recovery, data protection, and business continuity strategies for complex enterprise environments. In this role, you will bridge architecture, automation, and executive-level engagement—translating manual disaster recovery runbooks into automated orchestration solutions like Kyndryl Resiliency Orchestration (Sanovi DRM) or ServiceNow BCM.

You will own the technical content lifecycle (HLD, LLD, White papers, and Solution Designs), deliver technical enablement training, and lead on-site implementations while collaborating closely with enterprise customers, partners, and vendors.
Your future at Kyndryl

Every position at Kyndryl offers a way forward to grow your career, from Junior System Administrator to Architect. We have opportunities for Cloud Hyperscalers that you won’t find anywhere else, including hands-on experience, learning opportunities, and the chance to certify in all four major platforms. One of the benefits of Kyndryl is that we work with clients in a variety of industries.

Who You Are

You’re good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important – you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development. You are customer-focused – someone who prioritizes customer success in their work. And finally, you’re open and borderless – naturally inclusive in how you work with others.
Required Skillset
  • BCP & DR Architecture: Comprehensive understanding of On-Premise, Off-Premise, and Hybrid IT-DR application architectures, including data protection, storage replication, and database native replication.
  • Resiliency Automation: Proven ability to map manual DR-drill runbooks into modern orchestration platforms such as Kyndryl Resiliency Orchestration (Sanovi DRM) or ServiceNow BCM.
  • Workload Expertise: Strong data protection experience across enterprise workloads including MS SQL, Exchange, Oracle, Active Directory (AD), VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS, and Bluemix.
  • Platforms & Scripting: Extremely strong hands-on experience with standalone and clustered UNIX (AIX/Linux) and Windows platforms, backed by strong scripting proficiency in TCL, Shell, Batch, PowerShell, Expect, or Bicep for API/CLI integrations.
  • Design & Documentation: Expertise in creating comprehensive Low-Level Designs (LLD), High-Level Designs (HLD), and end-to-end data management workflows.
  • Storage & Virtualization: Deep practical knowledge of storage replication technologies, virtualization solutions, and diverse DR failure scenarios.
Preferred Skillset
  • Documentation & Technical Writing: Experience in developing and revising critical technical assets including Solution Design/Approach documents, Technical Reports, PPTs, FAQs, and White papers.
  • Enablement & Training: Proven track record in developing and delivering operational/technical training content, live demos, and webinars for internal teams, channel partners, and enterprise customers.
  • Executive Engagement & On-Site Delivery: Ability to participate in Executive Briefing Center sessions, acting as a technical evangelist, alongside hands-on experience leading on-site product implementations with customer and vendor teams.
  • Continuous Learning: Proactive mindset geared toward continuous self-development and mastering cutting-edge developments in the Disaster Recovery and Data Protection landscape.
