Job Functions:
- Conduct full scope of controls project services as outlined in the overview above.
- Assist Robotic and Mechanical Engineering on project design
- Deliver successful controls projects with regards to customer satisfaction, schedule, time, and budget
- Help resolve engineering issues as they arise by working closely with the engineering team, vendors, and the shop
- Ensure we meet and exceed our customer's expectations through superior design and implementation
- Complete all administrative tasks/paperwork in timely manner
- Work with management to prioritize projects on macro level; ability to prioritize individual tasks on your own
- Develop recommended spare parts lists for the equipment manual once project is completed
- Work with management to develop process standards within the department
- Attend training and become certified in applicable controls technologies or programs
Travel Requirements:
- 10% overnight travel (Travel expenses paid by Bastian Solutions)
Preferred Skills and Required Qualifications :
- Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.
- Pursing a Bachelor of Electrical, Computer or Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Robotics and/or controls
- Controls experience on highly automated project
- Experience with PLC’s and Industrial Robots preferred
- Has worked with safety rated equipment, networking, circuits, AC/DC motors, encoders, conveyor belts, LIDARs, photoeyes, and Panel Design
