Automated Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, build, and maintain robust automation test suites for web and API layers (e.g. Cypress, Postman).  
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines   
• Create test plans and strategies for regression, smoke, and performance testing.  
• Collaborate with developers, QAs and product owners to define acceptance criteria and test coverage.  
• Continuously improve QA practices, frameworks, and tools across the engineering teams.  
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and raise issues with clear documentation.  
• You will participate in daily project team meetings and brainstorming activities related to the project issues 

Key Requirements 

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation (frontend and backend).  
• Deep proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with E2E testing tools, especially Cypress. 
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and testing tools like Postman or similar.  
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub Actions). 
• Solid knowledge of core web technologies: HTTP, REST, HTML, CSS. 
• DRY, KISS and refactoring skills 
• Fluent English (Upper-Intermediate level). 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical solutions effectively. 

Desirable Skills 

• Knowledge of performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).  
• Previous work experience in fintech, proptech, or fast-scaling startups.   
• ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus. 

KPIs 

• % of critical user journeys covered by automation.  
• Reduction in manual regression time per release.  
• Test coverage of key services/modules.  
• Automation build health and execution speed.
