About the role 🖥️
Vestiaire Collective is looking for an Authentication Associate to join our Operations team in the US. This is a full-time role based out of our Brooklyn Warehouse reporting to the QC & Authentication Team Leader. The schedule is Monday-Friday 9:30-6 pm EST.
What you will do 👜
- Control brand criteria of received items (fabrics, sew, brand logo, serial number, date code) for C2C, B2C, and returns items
- Train and develop your expertise and eye to become a well rounded luxury specialist
- Long-term training to grow and advance within the authenticator job family
- Ensure the best expertise for our clients
- Develop expertise on guidelines for both digital and physical authentication
- Share your expertise with our authentication department
- Command product quality control if necessary
- Create content to develop authentication knowledge
Who you are ⭐
- You possess strong analytical skills and a great eye for detail
- You have existing knowledge or relevant experience in retail and resale markets for luxury goods
- Interest in the luxury industry and e-commerce business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a busy, global team.
- You are comfortable prioritizing tasks and working in a fast-paced environment.
- You have a genuine interest in building a long-term career as an Authentication Expert
- Ambitious self-starter, you are proactive, eager to learn, and result-driven 1+ years of experience in Authentication or luxury industries
