We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Audit Associate to join our professional team in Sandyford Dublin, Ireland. As an Audit Associate, you will play a crucial role in conducting financial audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and delivering high-quality services to our diverse client base.

• Perform audit procedures and tests in accordance with company policies and professional standards
• Analyze financial statements, accounting records, and supporting documentation
• Identify and communicate potential audit issues to senior team members
• Prepare clear and concise audit work papers to document findings and support conclusions
• Collaborate with team members and clients to gather necessary information and resolve queries
• Assist in the preparation of audit reports and presentations for client meetings
• Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements
• Support senior auditors in planning and executing audit engagements
• Maintain a high level of professional skepticism and ethical standards throughout all audit activities

• Part Qualified Accountant, preferably pursuing CAI or ACCA certification
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Demonstrated strong academic performance
• 1-3 years of audit experience gained within a professional services firm
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
• Professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with clients
