We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Audit Associate to join our professional team in Sandyford Dublin, Ireland. As an Audit Associate, you will play a crucial role in conducting financial audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and delivering high-quality services to our diverse client base.
- Perform audit procedures and tests in accordance with company policies and professional standards
- Analyze financial statements, accounting records, and supporting documentation
- Identify and communicate potential audit issues to senior team members
- Prepare clear and concise audit work papers to document findings and support conclusions
- Collaborate with team members and clients to gather necessary information and resolve queries
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports and presentations for client meetings
- Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements
- Support senior auditors in planning and executing audit engagements
- Maintain a high level of professional skepticism and ethical standards throughout all audit activities
- Part Qualified Accountant, preferably pursuing CAI or ACCA certification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Demonstrated strong academic performance
- 1-3 years of audit experience gained within a professional services firm
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
- Professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with clients
