Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and conducting internal and external audit activities under the supervision of senior audit staff.
Review financial records, invoices, receipts, payment documents, and other supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
Assist in collecting, organizing, and maintaining audit evidence and working papers.
Perform basic checks and reconciliations of financial and operational records.
Identify discrepancies, errors, or unusual transactions and report findings to the appropriate supervisor.
Support the preparation of audit schedules, reports, summaries, and documentation.
Assist in monitoring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Participate in physical verification of assets, inventory, cash, and other organizational resources when required.
Maintain proper and confidential records of audit documents and working papers.
Follow up on audit findings and assist in tracking the implementation of recommended corrective actions.
Assist with data entry, analysis, and basic spreadsheet work using Microsoft Excel or other relevant tools.
Support the audit team during special reviews, investigations, and other assignments as directed.
Maintain professional relationships with staff and departments while requesting and reviewing audit information.
Ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
Perform other duties related to audit and finance as assigned by the supervisor.
