Audit Accountant (FTC)

Responsibilities

•  Prepare and review Reconciliations
  
• Build Audit files
  
• Audit preparation
  
• Review Annual Financial Statements
  
• Audit execution – managing audit process from planning to sign-off, responding to audit queries, ensuring good relationship with auditors
  
• Work with the business and Central Finance to ensure smooth audit of subsequent years:
  
• Internal control reviews to ensure readiness for more efficient auditor approaches (Controls audit vs Substantive audit – reduces sample sizes)
  
• Proactive Central Finance accounting reviews
  
• Ensure continuous compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards
  
• Auditor’s Reports to Management – ensure that auditors’ housekeeping findings are addressed
  

• Must have done audit articles
  
• 2 Years post-articles experience in audit environment
  
• Must be fast and detailed
  

• Advanced MS Excel skills &  Numerical skills
  
• High attention to detail (accuracy)
  
• Ability to deal with complex information and requests
  
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
  
• Confident and enthusiastic self-starter who can take initiative
