The Role You Could Play
Our growing Personalisation team are looking for a Marketing Audience Specialist who will play a key role in bringing the MECCA magic to life through our digital channels with experiences that delight and inspire action.
You will be part of a team responsible for accelerating growth, by defining and creating our target audience strategies to ensure every interaction with our is data led and adds value to our customers.
Day to day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements
- Define, size, create, and optimise audiences using audience management tools and/or manipulating database tables with SQL
- Ensure audiences created and used are compliant with data/privacy rules and local laws and regulations (such as GDPR)
- Maintain and validate data in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including imports, exports, queries, and overall hygiene
- Maintaining platform hygiene
- Champion a data-driven, test and learn approach to optimising and enhancing personalised customer experiences
- Provide input into the most effective audiences to use for personalisation use cases
- Contribute to the development and documentation of solution designs that process and manage audiences
- Support thought leadership in audience strategy and taxonomy management to ensure feasibility and quality in audience creation and maintenance
- Support the extension of data processes to enrich customer profile for targeting
What You Will Bring
Balancing strategy with tactical execution, you will always have the north star in focus, delivering innovation and market leading experiences. You will be comfortable working with complex data sets, commercially minded and comfortable working with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver high quality customer conversion and overall market share growth.
You will also have the following skills:
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Highly proficient in developing SQL and experience with Relational Data Base Management systems
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud including creation, population and querying of data extensions and set up of automations
- Experience in martech platforms and digital experimentation desirable
- Experience in designing, implementing and optimising customer segmentation and audiences in line with overall audience strategy
- Strong data communication skills (both written & verbal) and ability to manage and present to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with an ability to innovate in finding solutions
- Experience in agile ways of working and tools such as Jira and Confluence
