Pacific Air Crew Services (PAS) is recruiting an experienced ATR TRE / TRI for an exciting
touring opportunity based in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
This role offers the chance to play a key part in developing flight crew capability, maintaining
training standards, and supporting the safe operation of a growing fleet of modern ATR
72/42 aircraft.
We are seeking a professional training captain with strong instructional capability, excellent
CRM leadership, and a commitment to maintaining the highest airline training standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct ATR type training, line training and proficiency checks in accordance with
company and regulatory standards
Maintain and promote high flight safety and operational standards
Provide mentorship and professional development for flight crew
Ensure compliance with PNG CAA, ICAO and airline training requirements
Support the ongoing development of training programs and SOP standards
Requirements
Licensing & Regulatory
Valid ATPL
Current ATR Type Rating
Valid TRI and/or TRE approval on ATR (CASA or ICAO equivalent acceptable)
Valid Class 1 Medical
Ability to obtain PNG Civil Aviation Authority endorsement
Valid passport with ability to obtain required visas
Police clearance
Experience
Command experience on ATR aircraft
Previous airline training and/or checking experience
Demonstrated compliance with ICAO / CASA / airline training standards
Recent flight time on type preferred
Professional Competencies
Strong safety leadership and operational oversight
Proven experience in line training, checking and crew mentoring
Ability to operate within structured SOP and regulatory frameworks
High level of CRM, instructional and communication skills

Salary
AUD 150,000++ per annum (based on experience)
Roster Options
Touring Option: 3 weeks ON / 3 weeks OFF or 6 weeks ON / 6 weeks OFF
Full-Time Option: 30 working days annual leave (approximately 42 days including
weekends)
