GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The ATM Reconciliation Specialist plays a key role in assisting the departmental leadership with the daily operations of the Bank's card services and ATM functions. This position holds the primary responsibility for ATM troubleshooting and reconciliation, as well as acting as a backup for other roles within the Card Services department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Manage the ATM general ledger (GL) reconciliation process, ensuring all ATM-related accounts are balanced and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
•Oversee armored car ATM balancing and reconciliation, ensuring all processes related to cash handling and ATM balancing are accurate and in line with Bank procedures.
•Provide solutions to complex operational issues related to ATM troubleshooting,
reconciliations, and the Bank's debit and credit card programs, including resolving discrepancies and system-related challenges.
•Oversee the monthly debit card audits of all Instant Issue Branch locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
•Monitor and order debit card stock and card printer supplies for all Instant Issue branches.
•Train and mentor new Card Services staff, providing ongoing coaching, support, and assistance to ensure high levels of performance and knowledge retention.
•Handle other card services and ATM operations duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree.
EXPERIENCE GENERAL
3 years related experience and/or training.
EXPERIENCE MANAGEMENT
1 to 6 months related management experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Must deliver Service with HEART to all customers, both internal and external. Must maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information at all times. Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy and be able to work independently. Must be able to cross-train for other positions.
Skills Required
- Equivalent to a four year college degree or broad knowledge in accounting, marketing, business administration, finance
- Minimum 3 years related experience and/or training
- 1 to 6 months related management experience
- Experience with general ledger (GL) reconciliation, preferably ATM-related
- Experience with cash handling and armored car ATM balancing
- Experience with debit card operations, audits, and Instant Issue branch processes
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and cross-train for other positions
- Ability to train and mentor Card Services staff
