We are excited to announce the launch of Atlas Obscura's new summer internship program, designed to provide educational hands-on experience to emerging talent.
Dates: Rolling. Applicants are welcome to apply throughout the summer to inquire whether positions are available. The internship program will run for 6-8 weeks.
Program OverviewThis summer, we will be welcoming interns across four strategic areas of our business. Each internship offers educational opportunities and direct exposure to Atlas Obscura's unique mission of inspiring wonder and curiosity about the incredible world we all share.
These internship positions are designed as training-based opportunities focused on providing students and recent graduates with practical experience in media, digital content, and business operations.
As educational internships, these positions are unpaid but offer hands-on learning experiences, mentorship from experienced professionals, and the opportunity to build a portfolio of work with a recognized brand. Interns will not be considered employees for minimum wage and other purposes. Interns may apply to and be considered for open positions at the conclusion of the internship, but interns are not entitled to employment at the conclusion of the internship program and will be considered alongside other candidates.
