JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Recreation Supervisor, the Athletic Assistant shall be responsible for the scorekeeping, timing, and/or assist in the instructional phase of athletic programs where needed. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide outstanding customer service to our internal and external guests by providing friendly, responsive, courteous and helpful service.
- Punctuality and thoroughness while performing duties.
- Aid in the instruction of the program if needed.
- Aid in promoting safety in the program.
- Properly maintain all equipment and supplies used in the program.
- To be cooperative and develop a good relationship with the public.
- Refer all specific questions and comments to either the Athletic Instructor or League Coordinator.
- Adheres to all policies and procedures as outlined in the Safety Manual.
- Other related job duties as assigned.
COGNITIVE SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Ability to instruct, follow directions, deal with problems, basic arithmetic skills.

- Thorough knowledge of the athletic activity.

- High school student and at least 16 years of age.
