As a Metrology (Analytical and Technology) Technician supporting the Molding Engineering team, you will handle operate metrology and incoming inspection equipment to conduct inspection of molded and raw materials components in Houston, TX.
In this role, a typical day will include:

Operates metrology equipment including hand tools and automated inspection equipment.

Conducts inspections by following test procedures, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.

Continuously orchestrating work areas for good safety and housekeeping practices; identifying, resolving, and reporting safety hazards.

Supports Molding qualifications and Molding Tool First Article Inspections (FAIs) by performing measurements and completing datasheets.

Supports AS&T with Gage R&R measurements.

Supports Incoming Inspection and Molding Metrology as needed.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

High School Diploma or equivalent

The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.

Work Hours: – Thursday – Sunday: 8:00amCT to 6:30 pmCT

Travel Requirements: 0 to 10%
