CLA is seeking an Assurance Senior to join our growing Financial Services Group. In this role, you will work closely with financial institution clients, delivering high-quality audit, review, and compilation services while serving as a trusted advisor and mentor to team members. This role can be based in one of our strategic growth markets, including Indianapolis, St. Louis, or Dallas.
How you'll create opportunities in this Assurance Senior role:
Participate in audit, review, and compilation engagements serving financial institution clients.
Assist with engagement planning and all aspects of financial statement preparation.
Coordinate, delegate, and review the work of Associates to help ensure quality and timely client service.
Support the development of team members through coaching, mentoring, and training opportunities.
Collect and analyze data to identify control deficiencies, duplicated efforts, fraud risks, and non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
Perform analytical reviews of financial information and identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
Build strong relationships with clients and team members while contributing to a positive team culture.
What you will need:
2 years of relevant experience required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required.
Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred
Prior experience with an established public accounting or professional services firm is preferred.
