We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our Assurance Department. The Assurance team provides audit, review, and other attestation services to a diverse client base ranging from privately held businesses to publicly traded organizations. Team members work through all phases of an engagement, including planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, and financial reporting. In addition to delivering high-quality client service, the team serves as a trusted advisor by helping clients navigate changing accounting standards, improve financial reporting processes, and address complex business challenges. Responsibilities

  • Perform compilations, reviews, and audits of financial statements 
  • Perform attestation services including, but not limited to, cash, property and equipment, accounts payable, income and expense analysis including revenue testing, and accrued liabilities 
  • Plan and coordinate work on assigned segments of an engagement  
  • Prepare client financial statements and related documents 
  • Research technical issues 
  • Prepare drafts of client communications  
  • Learn and demonstrate competency with necessary software
  • Work directly with clients, both in person and electronically, on areas of the assurance engagement

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting and/or 150 credit hours
  • 0-3 years of accounting experience
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA and a solid track record of academic achievements
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in various accounting and other software, including Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Familiarity with financial statement procedures and the ability to distinguish between material and immaterial items 
  • Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and knowledge of attestation standards 
  • Exemplary communication and organizational skills
  • Strong desire to learn and develop professionally
  • Motivated to serve clients
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

The annual salary range for this position is: $64,000 - $87,000. This salary range reflects anticipated responsibilities and qualifications of a successful candidate for this role. Final compensation may vary depending on an individual’s experience, knowledge, and skills. Individuals may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of incentives, commissions, profit sharing, and more, depending on the role. Skills Required
