Job Description:

Reporting to the Vice President, Solutions and Enablement, the Associate Vice President, Product Group Owner, Advice Transformation leads the end‑to‑end transformation of Advice capabilities across Private Wealth Management (PWM) and Financial Planning (FP) by delivering net‑new and materially enhanced technologies through structured planning and execution within the TD Scaled Agile Framework, in close partnership with Solution & Enablement teams, Journey teams, GTS, and enterprise change partners for TD Wealth Canada.

Individual Role Accountabilities

  • Own the strategic roadmap and delivery of all Advice‑specific technology capabilities across PWM and FP, including the creation of net‑new platforms and the material evolution of existing capabilities, ensuring alignment to Wealth strategy and business outcomes.

  • Accountable for end‑to‑end technology transformation planning and execution for Advice, operating within the TD Scaled Agile Framework to sequence, fund, and deliver multi‑year transformation initiatives in partnership with Solution & Enablement teams, Journey teams, GTS and other enterprise teams.

  • Lead cross‑Journey and cross‑LOB coordination for Advice transformation, resolving dependencies and conflicts across Wealth Journeys, shared platforms, and enterprise technology to ensure coherent, integrated delivery.

  • Own the transformation of advisor workflows and operating models enabled by technology, ensuring new capabilities materially change how Advice is delivered—not simply enhance existing tools.

  • Drive the enablement of Gen AI and Agentic AI capabilities for PWM and FP, including business ownership of use cases, prioritization, delivery alignment, and adoption in partnership with control partners and Wealth National Office.

  • Leads the majority of the strategic direction and roadmaps of the Advice Journey outside of Acquisition capabilities

Shared Responsibilities

  • Shared accountability with the Vice President, Solutions and Enablement, Executive Journey Product Owner, for Advice transformation priorities, roadmap alignment, funding direction, and business outcome delivery.

  • Joint decision-making with Journey Product Owners, GTS, Architecture, and enterprise delivery partners on sequencing, dependencies, release scope, and execution trade-offs across Advice capabilities.

  • Shared responsibility with Wealth National Office, control partners, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Privacy, and Governance teams for the prioritization, design, and adoption of Gen AI and Agentic AI use cases within approved risk and control frameworks.

  • Partner with business leaders across PWM, FP, Servicing, and other Wealth journeys to align transformation priorities, resolve cross-functional impacts, and ensure enterprise initiatives are implemented in a coordinated manner.

  • Shared people leadership and operating model accountability across product, business analysis, and enablement teams to ensure consistent prioritization, execution discipline, and capability adoption.

Skills, Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience delivering technology capabilities within Advice businesses.

  • Strong leadership experience in wealth management, advice enablement, product ownership, strategy, and large-scale business / technology transformation.

  • Deep knowledge of advisor workflows, existing and future advisor technology platforms, operating models, and the Wealth Advice business across PWM and FP.

  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives within Advice via agile or scaled agile delivery environments, including roadmap development, prioritization, and execution oversight.

  •  Experience managing large portfolios, cross-enterprise stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams including product owners, business analysts, and enablement resources.

  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, change leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across business and technology teams.

  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, technology, or a related field; equivalent experience in wealth, product, strategy, or transformation leadership may be considered.
