VCA South Hadley Animal Hospital in South Hadley, MA is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Associate to join our small animal/companion animal practice. We understand the importance of work/life balance, and this role does not include on-call hours. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Our caseload is primarily cats and dogs, though we also regularly see rabbits and pocket pets. Comfort or interest in exotic small animal medicine is a plus — it's been a longstanding strength of this hospital, and doctors here have built a reputation locally for handling the occasional bird or reptile alongside their standard companion animal caseload.

Hospital Hours: Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, Saturday 8am–4pm, closed Sundays.

We're a small, thriving, and growing practice that has served the South Hadley, Chicopee, Holyoke, and Granby communities for more than 20 years. Our team culture is collaborative and supportive, with an open environment built around high-quality, compassionate care.

What the hospital offers:

  • Full digital radiography, including dental radiographs
  • A user-friendly EMR
  • A strong, experienced support team

As a VCA clinic, our doctors practice medicine independently while benefiting from the connections of a larger network — including access to specialists and a variety of in-house professional development opportunities.

South Hadley is a comfortable community with easy access to outdoor activities, particularly hiking along the Holyoke Mountain Range, plus year-round music and arts events. The area is known for strong schools and historic centers, with more culture, activities, and cuisine a short drive away through the Pioneer Valley, and up toward Brattleboro, VT and southwestern New Hampshire.
