About this role
This role sits within Preqin, a part of BlackRock. Preqin plays a key role in how we are revolutionizing private markets data and technology for clients globally, complementing our existing Aladdin technology platform to deliver investment solutions for the whole portfolio.
We are looking for a talented Creative Designer/Artworker to join our multi-disciplinary creative team. You should be someone who thrives on working within a team with a proven ability to bring briefs to life, shape creative ideas, and have excellent artwork skills. The key aspect of the role will see you collaborating with other members of the creative team, making sure all work is adhered to brand guidelines and creating designs and artwork to a high standard. This role will see you working closely with our Senior Designers to ensure our visual identity and key campaigns for the business are impactful and on brand.
The ideal candidate has plenty of creative ideas, a sharp eye for typography, layout, and precision, and who works well in a team. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of projects from start to finish, producing standout visual executions, and keep everything on track. They are a self-motivated team player, who is keen to take an active role in the team with a can-do attitude, and the drive to go the extra mile.
What you’ll be doing:
Developing visual concepts and designs that align with a brand’s identity and meet the needs of our clients
Creating artwork across a broad range of brand assets from brochures, reports, paid media, social, and events
Collaborating with our clients to ensure that designs accurately reflect the brand’s desired image and messaging
Presenting design options to clients and stakeholders for review and feedback
Managing multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Ensuring that all designs are produced to the highest standards of quality and accuracy, with excellent layout skills and an eye for clean design
What you’ll bring to us:
Experience as a Creative Designer/Artworker or similar role
Animation and/or video skills desirable
Ability to balance projects and timelines
A collaborative approach to working with people and teams
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and pro-active

Our hybrid work model
BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
