About the Role
As a Test Engineer at Analog Devices (ADI), you will support the development, implementation, and optimization of testing solutions used throughout the product development and manufacturing lifecycle. Working with cross-functional engineering teams, you will help evaluate product performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure products meet quality, reliability, and functional requirements.
You will contribute to the development of test methodologies, diagnostic programs, test equipment, and validation procedures while gaining hands-on experience across a variety of products and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement test methodologies, test cases, and validation approaches to evaluate product functionality, performance, and reliability.
Develop and execute diagnostic test programs to identify defects, performance issues, and opportunities for product improvement.
Design, develop, and support test fixtures, evaluation hardware, and test equipment used for product validation and characterization.
Define, document, and maintain test procedures, specifications, and validation processes.
Troubleshoot technical issues across systems, equipment, and products using analytical problem-solving techniques.
Support qualification, characterization, and reliability testing activities throughout the product lifecycle.
Collaborate with design, product, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and improve product quality.
Analyze test results and technical data to identify trends, root causes, and performance improvements.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance testing efficiency, product quality, and engineering processes.
Must Have Skills
Understanding of test engineering principles, validation methodologies, and troubleshooting techniques.

Preferred Education and Experience

Experience with test automation, diagnostic testing, or product validation activities.
Familiarity with test fixture development, evaluation boards, PCB design, or hardware debugging.
Exposure to programming, scripting, or test development tools.
Experience with qualification testing, reliability testing, or product characterization.
Familiarity with quality systems, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Internship, research, or project experience involving test engineering, product development, systems validation, or electronics design.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $60,800 to $83,600.
