About the Role
Jefferies is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM & Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) Technical Analyst to support and develop its global HR technology platform. This role is responsible for the technical administration, support, configuration, integration, and optimization of Oracle Cloud HCM, with a focus on Core HR and Recruiting.
The ideal candidate combines deep Oracle Cloud expertise with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, partnering closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, and IT teams to deliver scalable solutions, support platform stability, and drive continuous improvement across HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support for Oracle Cloud HCM and Oracle Recruiting Cloud.
- Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex production issues.
- Design, develop, test, and implement system enhancements, integrations, and configurations.
- Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and cross-functional technology teams to deliver scalable, best-practice solutions.
- Support quarterly Oracle Cloud releases, including impact assessments, regression testing, and deployment readiness.
- Develop and maintain integrations, reports, extracts, workflows, and data conversion processes.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data privacy standards.
- Contribute technical expertise to the HR technology roadmap and ongoing platform modernization initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3-5+ years of experience supporting and implementing Oracle Cloud HCM, including Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC).
- Core HR – employee lifecycle, hires, transfers, terminations, assignments, jobs, positions and organizations
- Hands-on experience with Redwood UX and Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
- Strong technical expertise in HCM Extracts, HDL, Fast Formulas, BI Publisher, OTBI, and Oracle Cloud integrations.
- HCM Extracts – full file, changes-only extracts, scheduling and delivery
- BI Publisher – data models, reports, bursting, scheduling and notifications
- HDL/HSDL – mass data loads and corrections
- OIC Integrations – HCM Adapter, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML and SFTP
- OTBI reports and dashboards
- Strong Oracle SQL and understanding of HCM tables/data model
- DFF/EFF, Lookups, Value Sets, Autocomplete Rules and Experience Design Studio, VB Studio
- Proven experience with HCM Security, including role-based access controls and data security frameworks: roles, data/abstract/job roles, security profiles and AOR
- Expertise in workflow design, approval configuration, and process optimization: BPM/Approval workflows and Transaction Console
- Strong understanding of SaaS support, release management, testing, and Agile delivery practices.
- Experience supporting complex, global Oracle Cloud environments.
- Experience with production support, incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and quarterly Oracle updates
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience
- Strong understanding of HR business processes and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Compensation or Talent is a plus
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
- Exposure to global Oracle Cloud HCM deployments and transformations.
- Oracle Cloud HCM certifications are a plus.
