Boeing Poland is seeking an Associate Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team located in Warsaw, Poland.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed structural analysis (static strength and fatigue) to determine structural integrity, using classical techniques and Boeing tools. This analysis supports new designs, production issues and failure investigations to show compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborates closely with design and manufacturing team to tackle complex design, test, and certification challenges and drive cross-functional problem-solving.
- Guides structural design and configuration development. Performs trade studies to optimize structure and meet program requirements.
- Develops, deploys and supports in-house and commercial application software to enable efficient performance of engineering tasks.
- Supports test execution and analyze/report test results to validate and verify that systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
- Defines and document certification and test results to substantiate to customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
- Works under general supervision.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
- Legal authorization to work in Poland
- 3+ years of experience using CAD systems
- Working knowledge of static and fatigue analysis methods and tools
- Understanding of metallic and composite structures
- Familiarity with aircraft structural design, including airframe primary and secondary structures
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Master of Science degree in Engineering with a focus in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace/Aeronautical or Materials Science
- Proficiency in stress analysis
- Experience leading a team, either formally or informally
