This exciting opportunity of a full-time role based in Sydney will allow you to collaborate with the local team as well as learn from our incredible global network. You will manage and drive our strategy expertise and be someone who is familiar with the Australian landscape.

Here’s where you come in.

Architect the vision across brands and disciplines

  • Architect end-to-end, full-funnel consumer experience and comms strategies. You don't just understand social; you seamlessly pivot from high-level brand positioning and architecture down to tactical social, influencer ecosystems, and digital consumer journeys.
  • Lead the synthesis of quantitative data and qualitative cultural mining. You don't just report on macro and micro trends; you turn out-of-the-box data perspectives into actionable, differentiated strategies that give our clients an advantage.
  • Move beyond "deck crafting." You craft narratives who can distill complex information into clear, compelling strategic visions that command the room and sell ideas to senior stakeholders.

Lead, Empower, and Elevate the Team

  • Build Autonomous Teams: Lead by example while actively mentoring your direct reports. Your goal isn't just to work independently, but to build frameworks, processes, and a culture of confidence that empowers your team to operate autonomously and effectively.
  • Champion of Clarity: Be a vocal and inventive leader who thrives in complexity. You shield your team from chaos by breaking down ambiguous challenges and client feedback into clear, actionable, and inspiring briefs.
  • Elevate the Creative Output: Act as the ultimate bridge between strategy, creative, and media. Provide the strategic springboard that inspires creative teams to craft culture-jacking, attention-grabbing content, while partnering with media to ensure holistic measurement frameworks.

What You Bring to the Table (The "Must Haves"):

  • 7+ years of strategy experience in a creative or digital advertising agency (minimum 2 years in the AUS market), with a proven track record of managing and mentoring strategists.
  • Cross-Industry Agility: Ample experience leading strategy development across a diverse portfolio of brands and categories, proving your ability to adapt and innovate regardless of the industry.
  • Deep Digital & Social DNA: You intimately understand the modern digital consumer journey. You know the technical aspects of native content creation and how to build a digital architecture map for end-to-end campaigns.
  • Executive Presence & Independence: You can autonomously own complex projects from brief to delivery. You command the room in client workshops and collaborative sessions, fostering positive, high-trust relationships.
  • Unflappable Prioritisation: You possess a strong sense of urgency but know the critical difference between what is urgent and what is important. You manage multiple timelines, competing deadlines, and internal QA processes at pace, without getting frazzled.
  • Constructive Catalyst: You tackle challenges head-on. Whether it's introducing a new cultural insight to external stakeholders or driving internal process efficiencies, you communicate with clarity, professionalism, and high energy.
