Position Summary
We are seeking a Program Manager – Jira to support delivery operations and Jira platform enablement within the Data Analytics & Technology Solutions (DATS) department. This role will focus on executing and maintaining Jira configurations, supporting Agile delivery processes, and assisting in the continuous improvement of DATS’s delivery operating model.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Jira administration and Agile project delivery, strong organizational skills, and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent project execution. This role will work closely with senior leadership, and team leads to support reporting, workflow optimization, and adoption of best practices.
Essential Job Funtions
- Support Jira configuration and maintenance, including workflows, boards, fields, and basic automation rules
- Assist in implementing standardized delivery processes across DATS teams (Agile, Kanban, hybrid models)
- Partner with project managers and team leads to ensure accurate project setup, tracking, and reporting in Jira
- Monitor data quality, ensuring issues, statuses, and workflows are consistently maintained across projects
- Support creation and maintenance of documentation, user guides, and training materials for Jira processes
- Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate task tracking, dependencies, and handoffs across teams
- Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards and reports (e.g., Jira reporting, Power BI) to support delivery visibility
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation of enhancements to workflows and automation
- Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for Jira users across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Information Systems, Technology, or related discipline)
- 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, PMO support, or Agile delivery environments
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience with Jira, including basic configuration and reporting
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management fundamentals
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Effective communication skills, with ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or reporting tools (Power BI exposure preferred)
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
- Experience working in a PMO or delivery operations function
- Exposure to Jira administration concepts (permissions, schemes, automation)
- Basic understanding of data analytics or reporting frameworks
Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000
